SOPA
SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy Act which was designed to deal with copyright
infringers in the online world and take them down by giving them series of
penalties. This act was made by the U.S. House of Representatives by Lamar Smith on October 26, 2011 and
produces many unlawful rights for the end-users of the World Wide Web. This law
will impose the violators of taking them on a maximum of at least five years
imprisonment, like if you try to watch unauthorized streaming of copyright
content which allegedly comprehend you as a criminal and that sucks!!
Lalo na that
they are given the power to conduct laws like the U.S. Attorney General can now seek a court order
that would force search engines, advertisers, DNS providers, servers, and
payment processors from having any contact with allegedly infringing websites.
hit lists composed of websites they feel are breaking their copyright policies,
ironically this doesn’t have any odd feelings of a legal mafia at all. These
companies will be able to directly contact a website’s payment processors a
notice to cut all off payment involvement with the targeted website. This
payment processors and website of question will then have five days to act
before it is simply taken down. Saka yung huli is yung payment
processors will have the power to cut off any website they work with, as long
as they can provide a strong reason of why they believe this site is
violating copyrights.
PIPA
PIPA stands for Protect Intellectual
Property Act in this
case, the law suits for the violation that can accompany in intellectual
properties such as movies, music or writing that, in the digital age than can
easily be copied and transmitted online without payment to their creators.
It was first
introduced to the U.S. Senate on May 12, 2011 by Senators Patrick
Leahy, Orrin Hatch, Chuck Grassley. PIPA, if passed, will give
U.S. corporations and the government the right to seek affirmative legal
action with any website that they see as enabling copyright infringement
whether of U.S. origin or not. Here is a breakdown of all that they will have
the power to do.
So bale dito mapo-force yung
mga U.S. internet providers to block access to websites deemed as enablers of
copyright infringement. Yung isa pa is that they will seek legal
action by suing search engines, blog sites, directories, or any site in general
to have the black listed sites removed from their website. Di lang yan
mag-kakaron din ng assumption that they will be able to force advertising
services on infringing websites, and those supporting of them, to remove them
from their advertising accounts at lastly companies will also have the
power to sue any new websites that get started after this bill is passed, if
they believe that they are not doing a good job of preventing
infringement on your website. Ganan yung mga prohibited things na
mangyayare sa Laws nay an if they are feed to the public kaya kaka-badtrip if
that happens di ba!!
From this unlawful bills na maraming tao ang nag-protest all over the
online world at directly mismo sa mga tao na rin dito sa outside world eh affected
talaga ang mga businesses natin dito small scale man or big scale, bale I mean
if they conducted some sort of violation sa mga nagtitinda ng products online
like ebay kunyare tapos shutdown yung edi out of business na yung mga tao basta
marami pang iba.
tayo sa United States at my sarili tayong country so I’m notthat worried kahit
na I’m filled with Copyright Infringement accusations ng navi-violate sa
youtube account ko man or similarly sa Facebook account ko, as if I care naman sa
violations na to di ba hahaha :D.
Anyway hindi rin naman nila ma-tatrack down lahat ng violators in the
net world sa dami ba naman ng mga host for the web sites na nagbibigay ng
capability for other people na makapag-create ng sarili nilang websites na
nag-poproduce ng downloading and free streaming ng videos or music tapos ang
server pa is out of the country from America like mediafire eh anno ba naman
klase ng files directly like Internet Download Manager eh dito pwede kang
So as if my
habol pa sa akin yung US government dir in naman nila ako madedetect kase for
Kaya this law will not be established in a complete way for them to
access every single violators of SOPA and PIPA all over the world. I mean I’m a
violator of that rights and as if I care dir in naman nila mapapa-tupad yan
hahaha (tawa lang for now).
